The ASEAN-Japan Centre held the event “DISCOVER AND BE A FAN OF ASEAN” to promote the attractions of Indonesia and Singapore, targeting young travel enthusiasts. With the theme of “hopping travel” across multiple Southeast Asian countries, the event focused on the culture and wellness of both nations, proposing a new style of travel. The event was held in collaboration with “TabiMUSE,” an overseas travel media outlet for women who love to travel.


Event Overview
The venue was decorated with a green motif, reminiscent of the rich natural beauty of Southeast Asia, and attracted approximately 70 travel enthusiasts. Participants enjoyed the atmosphere of both countries while savoring iconic local dishes from Indonesia and Singapore, such as chicken rice, satay, and gado-gado.
The event featured the latest tourism information from national tourism offices, flight details from Singapore Airlines and Scoot, and the captivating layover experience at Changi International Airport. Furthermore, a talk show by travel influencers showcased photos and videos, providing valuable information for specific travel plans, such as yoga experiences in Bali and Singapore’s multiculturalism. The event concluded with a raffle for an airline ticket and hotel accommodation, generating much excitement.
