Get to Know Us!

Indonesia is known to be a tropical paradise with its stunning ocean waters, breathtaking beaches, and yet there is always one odd thing found in between the beauty which is plastic. Indonesia ranks second in the world as one of the biggest marine plastic polluter. This is due to insufficient waste management and probably because plastic is seen as something invaluable. This threatens the tourism sector, fishing economy, and biodiversity of our country.

We can’t let plastic further erode our oceans and shore, thats why Eco4Shore is created! It’s an organization from students of Senior High School Taman Rama Jimbaran that consists of Johanna Gracia Sunarno, Nathania Karina Anggraini, Ni Wayan Dina Wiantari, and Vanessa Lee.

Our vision is for future generations to experience rich biodiversity and plastic-free oceans. We are committed to achieving that by doing four main steps, which includes competitive beach clean up, awareness campaigns, research initiatives, and collaborating with organizations that have similar visions as us. Our four main steps lies under the belief that plastic trash has the potential to become plastic treasure, hoping to create a circular economy and increased awareness. So come on and support us to restore the shore!
