The ASEAN-Japan Centre conducted a webinar titled “Digital Marketing for Green Tourism Enterprises” in coordination with Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism and the Greater Mekong Subregion Economic Cooperation Program.
The program was purposed to provide a practical online training session for MSMEs on how to use online platforms and tools, including social media, in a structured way that can help increase awareness and lead to increased sales. This was a follow-up to supplement the Training of trainers: Digital Skills for Green Tourism Enterprises, which was conducted in Hue, Viet Nam in December 2023.
Highlights:
- 88 Participants joined to understand digital marketing and equip MSMEs with the knowledge and skills to strategically leverage digital tools and social media platforms strategically, enhancing their online visibility and driving sales.
- The session discussed aligning digital marketing with a company’s unique selling proposition, goals, and objectives.
- The session highlighted essential digital tools like social media and Google platforms for business growth and how to optimize those tools.
- It considered strategic aspects like investment decisions in digital marketing, campaign lifecycle, and exclusive industry tips to enhance digital marketing efforts.
