ASEAN-Japan Centre organized a 2-day webinar “Travel awareness survey results – how Japanese travelers view ASEAN destinations” on 12 & 13 July 2021.
The webinar was organized to share the results of the ASEAN travel awareness survey the Centre conducted in January 2021, for Japanese male and female in their 20s – 60s. At the beginning of the webinar, H.E. Thong Rathasak, Director General of Tourism Development and International Cooperation, Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia delivered a special video message representing the ASEAN Member States.
Ms. Haruna Chinzei, Marketing Consultant who was commissioned to conduct the survey delivered the presentation.
Over the two days*, trends of different gender and age groups were introduced, on awareness of tourism resources, impressions of a country, photo preference and others.
*Day 1 – Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia
Day 2 – Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Lao PDR, Viet Nam
