[Update]
Entry period has been extended until Friday, June 30, JST.

【Overview of the campaign】

The relationship between ASEAN and Japan, which has grown remarkably since the start of official dialogue in 1973, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of friendship and cooperation in 2023. In conjunction with this anniversary year, the ASEAN-Japan Centre will hold a campaign on Instagram inviting people in ASEAN countries and Japan to submit short videos (15-30 seconds).

The campaign aims to inspire the people of the ASEAN Member States and Japan (11 countries in total) to feel each other’s culture and spirituality through the videos, and to inspire and unite the people who will build the future of ASEAN and Japan and point the way to sustainable social development and the future. We hope that the videos will express the new mindsets and visions of the future that are important for ASEAN countries and Japan.

In addition, the ASEAN-Japan Centre will edit the winning entries and produce a short video “Open the Golden Future” commemorating the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.

* Anyone who is confident in video production can participate in this campaign, regardless of whether they are professionals or amateurs.
